Termite Inspection at Chelsea
A customer from Chelsea rang All Pests for a termite inspection.
We arranged a time to inspect property and while inspecting the property I found a mud lead in subfloor under her bathroom floor; looking closer we found that she had a leak coming from her shower which makes this area a high risk for termite attack.
The customer didn’t realise that she had a leak until I inspected the property, and once leak was fixed we then proceeded with a chemical treatment to eliminate the termites.

Frankston Termite Inspection
All pests recently received a call from a distressed client who had found termites on his property in an old tree stump in the far back corner of his property. Termites found anywhere on the property is always a concern so we immediately made our way to Frankston for a full termite inspection. While inspecting the property All Pests then found termites eating away at his skirting board in one of his bedrooms . We then discussed all options of treatment to eradicate the termites.
First step was to Dust all termite workings (using termidor dust) to skirting board inside, this give time for the dust to work and to transfer to as many termites as possible.
Second step back 21 days later to complete full chemical treatment around perimeter of house (using termidor) which consisted of trenching and drilling of concrete. This gave the owner peace of mind that the termites would not enter the property again. All Pests also treated the termite nest on this day and advised the client to get tree stump removed.
Termite infestation anywhere in the area surrounding your property is always cause for concern and requires an immediate termite inspection to assess the risk to your property.
Rosebud Termite Treatment
AGHHH!! Termites!!
A builder from Rosebud rang All Pests in a panic after starting renovations to a house and discovering clear evidence of termite infestation in the flooring. After lifting the carpets in the bedroom area he came across some bubbling in the timber floors.
We advised him to stop immediately and sent our team out right away to assist. Our termite specialist then proceeded to carry out a full termite inspection of the house.
After inspecting the property, termite damage was also found to be in the bearers and joists of the subfloor area. We then proceeded to carry out a full chemical treatment to the house using TERMIDOR (8 years protection). Our team advised the builder that this house was very poorly ventilated and that this would need to be addressed. After completion of the chemical treatment, All Pests inspected the property 30 days later to make sure the termites had gone and no mud leads had reappeared.
This is very common occurrence down on the Mornington Peninsula due to very sandy soil, making it a lot easier for termites to travel through.
Mornington Peninsula Termite Inspection
A Mornington Peninsula customer based in Rye rang ‘All Pests’ regarding some bubbling found in the flooring of the living room. After talking to the client we advised them not to touch the damaged flooring and wait until we arrived.
A short time later we completed a full internal/ external termite inspection to the property. After the termite inspection, we provided the customer with the best option for her house. In this case, the termite solution was Exterra Baiting and Monitoring system.
Termite Baiting
The system works by attracting the termites by using baits that are a preferable source of food for termites. Studies have shown that in many cases, once the Exterra baits have been strategically placed, termites will actually stop feeding on the timbers in your home in preference for the bait. The bait is also non-toxic for humans and safe for pets.
The client was happy with the product information so we installed an above ground station in an area that would be most effective.
One month later the termite baiting station was full of termites. After rebaiting the station we continually went to site every month until colony had been eliminated.
Exterra baiting and monitoring system is a perfect system for homes that may be too low to the ground or that the customer just doesn’t want any chemical sprayed around. At ‘all pests’ we are an accredited Exterra installers.

Pest Control FAQ
What does pest control do?
Pest control entails methods to rid your property of unwanted insects or wildlife. A pest control professional will perform an inspection to look for signs of pests or pest damage. They will then carry out effective treatment methods to take care of the problem and keep it from recurring.
How do exterminators get rid of mice?
They use strategic means to lure and exterminate mice. Exterminators place mouse and mice traps in clever spots in the home. These hot spots include your attic, crawlspaces, and corners in your basement if you have one. Pros never place traps in food areas or common areas where you and your family hang out.
Is pest control worth the money?
Professional exterminating provides faster and more effective results than do-it-yourself methods, in most cases. They can also save you money in the future by identifying pest problems early and eliminating them fast, preventing a costly infestation and/or damage in the future.

Should I clean the house after pest control?
The good news is that you can clean after a pest control technician has sprayed your property. However, you should always wait for the spray to dry first. Also, try to avoid mopping or wiping down the perimeter areas of rooms (e.g., baseboards).
